NewsSRINAGAR, India-controlled Kashmir, Sept. 23 (Xinhua) — Two Indian army troopers including an officer and a militant were killed in an ongoing gunfight Wednesday in Indian-controlled Kashmir, a defense spokesman said.The gun fighting broke out in Boniyari-Sumbal village of Bandipore, 30 kilometers north of Srinagar, the summer capital of India-controlled Kashmir.The encounter broke out when a search party of Indian army confronted a group of militants present in the area Tuesday evening. The militants fired upon the army personnel and thus initiated a gun battle.
